Motor Vehicle Accident (MVA) Clients

MVA Billing Through Your Auto Insurance

If you were injured in a motor vehicle accident, your automobile insurance is required to cover psychotherapy under Ontario's Statutory Accident Benefits Schedule (SABS). We handle billing directly with your insurer. You do not need to pay out of pocket. Learn more about MVA therapy.

Veterans Affairs Canada (VAC)

Covered Through Veterans Affairs Canada

We are an approved provider for Veterans Affairs Canada. Eligible veterans can access psychotherapy through their VAC benefits with no out-of-pocket cost. Learn more about veterans therapy.

Insurance & Extended Health Benefits

Registered Psychotherapy services are covered under most extended health benefit plans. We provide official receipts after each session for reimbursement. We also offer direct billing to select insurers — contact us before your first session to confirm.

Insurers we commonly bill directly or for whom our receipts are accepted include:

Medavie Blue Cross
Sun Life Financial
Canada Life (Great-West)
Manulife
Desjardins
Green Shield Canada
Equitable Life
iA Financial Group

Coverage varies by plan. We recommend confirming your specific benefits with your provider before beginning therapy. Your plan may cover a set dollar amount per year, a percentage of each session, or a specific number of sessions.

Sliding Scale & Reduced Fees

We hold a small number of reduced-fee spots for clients who face genuine financial barriers to accessing care. If cost is a concern, please mention this when reaching out — we will do our best to find a workable arrangement or refer you to appropriate community resources.

Cancellation Policy

We ask for 48 business hours notice to cancel or reschedule a session. Cancellations made with less than 48 business hours notice may be charged the full session fee, except in cases of illness or genuine emergency. This policy allows us to offer the time slot to other clients who may be waiting.

Payment

Payment is accepted by e-transfer and all major credit cards. Payment is processed through our secure booking system at the time of your appointment. All transactions are encrypted and secure.
